We can only get to attend church every other Sunday, and we miss being able to go every Sunday, but we have supervised visits that we are obligated to be involved in, and the kids had a problem with church because of a relative carrying stories home to the kid's father, with whom there is a lot of animosity, and their grandparents who are somewhat the enemies also. They will be sorry one day, when the kids don't want to have any thing to do with them because of bad memories. Anyway, we are looking forward to church tomorrow, the music, the sermon/message, and just being in church with all of God's people, and being in the presence of the Lord! :D :D

It is a great Sunday for us. I got healed of the pain on my left rib under my chest :D . I am thankful for the Lord for healing me and thank for the wisdom bestowed on our Pastor today for delivering that great message. It touched us all. It is great, happy Sunday indeed.

I am glad to hear about your wonderful Sunday, Red, and for your healing of your hurting ribs. It is not fun to be in pain, not at all! That is nice that the Lord inspired your Pastor for delivering his message to you all. No doubt many who were in church this past Sunday can testify of the wonderful time they had in the presence of the Lord. We had a good church service. The music was good, and everyone was friendly. Sad to say, I slept through a lot of the sermon. Carol poked me and said, "Hey look, our local dentist is sleeping also!" I think she took pleasure in realizing that I am not the only one who sleeps periodically in church! I know I shouldn't sleep during the preacher's message, but sometimes I just can't help it, I sleep anyway.

Yesterday after church your youngest daughter and I went to buy the milk that I need to drink for this week. If I am out of milk, I am out of groceries! I bought her one gallon also, and we went to the feed store to get a bag of milk replacement for our big baby calf that we are still bottle feeding. She is going to be one tall milk cow one day being a Jersey/Holstein cross. Some of those Holsteins often get as tall as a horse. I bought one in 1974 that got as tall as a horse, huge, huge, huge. At least we will not have to sit on the ground to milk her as we do these miniatures that our daughter here keeps. I milked this cow here for a while until they got mad at me, and now they don't even want me to milk their cow, but that is okay. This calf is somewhat of a partnership. I helped buy here with our youngest daughter, and I am helping to buy the feed, and eventually we will get part of the milk, so that is fun! I am still hauling concrete blocks up the hill, 33 of them at a time. I just about have enough of them; I think I have 120 or so, and I think I probably need about 200 more or less, so I am getting there. I brought 33 of them up the hill yesterday and just put them on a pallet. I am going to put up a quick makeshift building, with no mortor, to store our garbage in until it accumulates enough to take it to the landfill. It will be nice to put it in a building instead of my utility trailer, which works okay this time of the year, but it is a pain to have garbage in the trailer when it snows, rains, the wind blows, the snow drifts, the garbage gets wet and I often have to shovel snow off out of the inside of the trailer before I can put garbage in it. So it will be nice, and I want to have it put up at least by the time winter gets here.

Was not able to attend church couple of Sundays due to rain. It is by motorcycle to go to church and it is hard to travel by motorcycle. So, I am listening to Television on God's word.

Once in awhile I have to work on a Sunday, and when that happens I always get up early to watch our church's pastor give his sermon on TV. That is the benefit of being in a wealthy church that can afford to do that. The church also has an online presence at http://www.hpbc.org/

I have heard about all of the rains in the Philippines. if any of you remember Ms Sin from the forum, she sent me a facebook message that her home was flooded last week. Please add her to your prayers.

Our character is both developed and revealed by tests, and all of life is a test... We will be tested by major changes, delayed promises, impossible problems, unanswered prayers, undeserved criticisms, fake friends and even senseless tragedies. But without all these things life will never have its meaning and we become closer to God who alone gives everything. Wishing everyone a blessed and a happy sunday! :)
