what is friendship for you?

My best friend, Charise has been very close to me. We share many things. She is my neighbor in the barrio wherein we always had a good time talking a lot. While we were in high school, though we graduated different schools, we planned what degree course to pursue in college.

I am the one who convince her to pursue BS Mathematics. She said, she might not be able to pass the degree but because I convinced her then she was with me in college. During our college days we had so many that we are not together since she is so pretty and a lot of men likes her. Unfortunately she stop when we are still in 3rd year college. But when we were in 2nd year, she was already irregular since she has failed other math subjects.

We had so many fights also, she blamed me why we took that degree and she cannot survive. I do my best as a friend. I make her assignments, I do some research papers for her, and been helping her even during her removal exam. I try to follow up her grades since it is nothing to her if she pass or not. . And most of all, she betrayed me. We fight each other like kids , but we are just so much immature. After that, we never leave each other even in the last moment of time she left for Dubai to find work there. Although the time that we had misunderstanding, we ask forgiveness to each other. We give another chance to be of good friends. We laugh what we have done. What an experienced we had and we realize that it was also for the growth and improvements for ourselves. If we only give chance and see the bright side of the relationship, we always win and be happy. No hurt feelings, no more regret about the past . She forgive me, I forgave her too. We hug each other as sisters. We really laugh to ourselves and sometimes she visits me a lot at home when she needed something. My late father had notice how close we were. It is good to have a good friend and never leave despite of imperfection.

Because I do believe that , in Proverbs 17:17 says "A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. What a friend to have who also like our brother or sister.

When I read this post I remembered that my father always used to say that when you die, if you've got five real friends, then you've had a great life.

I think that's what friendship really means? you dont have to have millions of friends in order for you to have a good life, all you need is one true friend...

There are times also that my late father understand my feelings since he can see it on my face. I know that he really want to help me but he wanted me to be independent and think what is the best thing to do. He just give recommendation and ideas and I really learn so much about things like the Spaniards conquer the Philippines. My late father love history. While eating at breakfast, we can finish eating for a very long time since he is talking a lot. I really miss my father.

Yes, Crisi, it is good to have good close friends, and even if we have fights and disagreements, it is good to say I am sorry, please forgive me, and then move on from there. You are right that you can have good memories and love each other inspite of the disagreements and fights, and it can even be funny later and bring smiles to your face. Jesus is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother, and it is great when you can have a friend who is a friend, and a friend who is a brother or sister! Rhusette, you are right in that all you really need is one good friend!

Friendship means having a bond like no other. It goes beyond a family bond. I should be able to tell my friend (s) everything about myself without feeling judge or uncomfortable. Friendship means honesty and integrity. Someone that will have your back no matter what. Someone that will be honest with you even though it hurts. Someone who loves you unconditionally. And although people do change over time, a true friendship will last forever and adjust to the changes that might come along the way.

Friendship is one of the greatest gifts ever bestowed upon mankind. While making friends may be easy, finding true and loyal friends who provide a lasting and fulfilling friendship is a much greater challenge.

FRIENDSHIP
F:
“F” is for forgiveness. I believe that when you are truly friends with someone, you are free to make the occasional mistake. With mistakes, there is sometimes anger, sadness, hurt and, hopefully, discussion. After the discussion, if the friendship is true, there should be Forgiveness.

“R” is for respect. Friends are really important to me! They Love you for you are, they trust you with their deepest secrets . Everyone needs somebody to respect and trust.

“I” is for inspiration. My friends always inspire me to do more and to try hard. I hope I do the same for them.
E:
“E” is for encouragement. My friends always encourage me to be a better person. They also encourage me to keep spreading Love and Gratitude! There is a beautiful quote that fully explains this point. This quote says: ”Keep your face to the sunshine and you can never see the shadow.” - Helen Keller
N:
“N” is for nice. Your friends will treat you with kindness. There is no need for excessive drama or for being mean. Friends should treat each other nicely.
D:
“D” is for Doesn’t give up on me (my friends). When I have a problem or a challenge to take, they are always by my side.They will never give up on me an vice versa.
S:
“S” is for support. For me, this word is one of the keys of any friendship. It has happened to me a lot of times this year, that I needed the support of my friends and they were there for me… Sending me beautiful messages, phone calls, etc.
H:
“H” is for happiness. Happiness is a great gift, and it comes from within. Pursuit of happiness through friends is the loftiest thought of being spiritual, as friendship is immeasurable. And most of all, our pursuit of happiness through friends encompass continuing pleasure and peace of mind.
I:
“I” is for ingredient. Friends are one of the most important ingredients in this recipe of life.
P:
“P” is for platonic Love. Platonic Love is very much a part of any close friendship. But such a Love does not always stay platonic. Sometimes it turns into passionate Love. Crossing that line, between friendship and Love, can be both beautiful and extremely difficult.

One of My best Friends Died this Year . But I will always Cherish the Memories of Our Friendship . She would Call Me on Something Dumb I had Done and I would do the Same for Her . She left Behind 2 Good Son's and a Bunch of Friends who always Stuck By Her . The friends Who Did not Call Her on Stuff or were Just with Her to Be Noticed soon Got Left behind . She called it dropping off the trash .. She Loved to Sing Karaoke at the Casino's and Bar's Wherever and whenever She could . When I first met her about 14 Years ago She had a Fine Voice but Due to all the Singing She did Her Voice Sometimes left Her so She could Not Sing at all .. Thankfully Her Voice Always came back to her Just Not as String as It once was . This Christmas I had Gotten Her Gift Early Hoping She would make it to Christmas but No Such Luck . I thank God I Still have a Good friend only about 3 Hours away . I was best Man at His wedding about 40+ years ago . He Married a Fine Lady who has Kept Him Happy all these Years . They truly Love Each Other . He knows Me better then My Own Brother or Mother Put together in some ways .

one of my closest friend come home for vacation for how many years we havent meet because she's work abroad as DH (domestic helper) in singapore, atlast yesterday we meet even im still sick i have to meet up on her because even distance apart from us we still communicate through facebook and she calls me, its been ten years of friendship weve have until now still getting stronger. shes one of my sons grandmother and she had something for my son and for me, im so lucky to have her even i dont ask for her, she is very kind and thoughtful even in no return thats what she is. now shes with son ill tel here to spend and treasure the moment of it when shes here i understand that. even once only we meet but it was so great and fun we had.

A friendship is the one who really cares for you, who will not tolerate your wrongs and will help you whether in good times and in bad times and the most of it a true friend will lead you to a true relationship with God that will cause you a big impact to your life it will change you as a good person that will make you inspire in any other relationship whether friendship or more than that.
