And my heart has been broken more than once in my life. But when you enter into a relationship with someone, you have to open yourself up to them to be able to get close. When you do open up, then that makes you vulnerable. It's a risk we all take. Heartbreaks are no fun! But when someone misleads you, disceives you, or lies to you, then that makes it almost impossble to trust them again. So many times, those lies are completey needless, and they do so much harm. Some people just get into a habit of lying, and it becomes a part of their personality and everyday behavior. So to avoid creating some irreversable damage to your relationship, do not lie to your present or potential mate. Be honest and be truthful, and you will be much better off for it.

It seems the word "honesty" has no meaning at all. It is the most difficult thing a person to be. Just like dating online, i believe both men and women are not totally honest. The guy manipulate the girl and vice versa. Yes, i believe there are less than a quarter or 25% are sincere enough in looking for a lifetime partner and the others are just playing around and are heart breaker. Okay guys, we women believe what you have said as much as we trust you (except those who are not). And also gals, please, i believe there are men outthere also who are looking for a potential mate, so be sincere. Okay, ill tell you, women struggle with their emotions and so please again, take extra care of your dealings.Oh huh, i am now a councilor  :D

Distance is the problem in a relationship. As long as you are committed to someone even how far she / he is, i feel secure that he or she is true to me :P

An intimate relationship w/ God must b our highest priority. When U hav right or poor relationship w/Him,out of that relationshp flows everything else in our life. Thus, your relationship to Him determines how you live your life. It all relates to that

Love is not enough. It will never be, although for me, it is the most important element. There are too many factors to make it work.

It takes two to tango, the saying says.. Yes, it's definitely true! Two people in a relationship should both be working out to make their relationship work! Whether, it is a boy-girl relationship, parent & child, or plain friendship.

Communication, i guess, is also one great component. Whether you are happy or sad, you are proud or mad at the person, or simply not in the mood for anything -- you need to let the person know. It makes him feel he is part of your life.

And when only one is working out or communication is starting to slip away, there the problem comes in, gap comes in. No matter how much you say you love the person but too busy for this two important things, I tell you, that relationship is going nowhere...

Trust is built in time. Friendship is the best foundation of a lasting relationship. Feel free to show who you really are. Being pretentious is a struggle you can't stop. Be true and be nice. Having the right heart in God's eyes can attract people. The state of the heart will be shown how you acted upon. Stay a good heart!

If I were looking, which I am not because I am happily married, I would be scared to death. I didn't know how lucky I was and Carol also for us to find each other, and love each other forever. Through hard times and good times we have stayed close. I never had any intention of bailing out, and Carol has been committed to it also. If I needed to find someone I would look for someone who was a committed Christian with love for God and for fellow people. If we love Jesus we have to have love for each other. The same love that keeps us close to the Lord will cause us to have tender feelings for other people as well. I know it takes two as they say, and if one bails sometimes the other person is left helplessly alone, but it is nice if two people love God and love each other. That is my idea anyway. :) :) :) :)

Until they are married you will never know each other, is this applicable now?
Different spirit two people wont be together. How can they be if others serve the Lord
and the one serve different. Better take time to know each other.
