I am from Austin, Texas, USA. It has been so hot here that we have almost set a record with the most days 100F degrees or hotter. I think we are at 67 days so far this year. Luckily, we have some rain right now to cool us off some. scott_g

i am from the philippine, particularly in quezon city... the climate here is cloudy... and last 2 days ago we experienced heavy rains we thought it was caused by typhoon... but thanks God it is not...


so you are in texas..? is the climate there the same here in the philippines?

Hello everybody,

I ran across this forum while looking at information about PI.
I lived there for a couple of months while in the USMC and fell in love with the people and culture. I have never had the chance to return to PI but still cherish the time I did spend there. I think this site is very well done and hope to meet many pen pals here.

About me:
I am 53, fat, bald, pretty good sense of humor and easy going. I have a few Filipino friends here in the US who put up with my bad Tagalog and the love i have for the PI people

Hope to join in an many of the discussions as time goes by
