do you want a virgin?

Postby abufarsi » Mon Jan 31, 2011 9:46 pm

In the Philippines virginity is very important. Having a sole sexual partner in life is a common goal. Cultures across the globe take special pride that their women especially are virgins when they marry.

I could not imagine though a mature man insisting on such, as, probably he is not a virgin. Further, he has had access to women in the past and knows "the score". I doubt any mature man would marry a women in order for him to have sex.

There is some romantic notion guys have about going where no man has gone before, and women giving her most precious gift to her lover, but in truth, as far as love and relationships go, virginity is simply never a factor.

My mother is not a virgin and she loves me unconditionally.

Young guys especially feel a great desire to have sex. They are known for telling really hurtful lies to women in order to have sex with them. Without experience themselves guys can be willing to make great sacrifices up to and including marriage in order to have dependable sex. My advise to any women who was thinking of marriage would be to go ahead and let him have his way, then when he is sated, see what of your relationship is left. USE contraceptives.

(by the way, rhythm method is not a good choice as when studied statistically, it has the same contraceptive results as no contraceptive at all)

Would, should, any guy marry a bar girl? For sure not a virgin. A persons past has some reflection on the choices they make in the future. I would think that if they became a bar girl because they liked flirting with men until 3AM while getting drunk would be one type of woman that might not make a good wife. But, if she became so poor that she simply had nothing else to sell, everybody has to make hard choices some time in their lives, so, unless she felt she was "selling" herself to you, she might make a good wife.

Disease is an important consideration. Some sexually transmitted diseases can be deadly. But even in marriage some exposure will happen. The question to have or not to have sex is one nobody should take casually.

To me, virginity is probably not a factor I would consider in selecting a mate... unless she is 44 and still a virgin, who wants a woman who could say "no" that long?

i think if the guy is a virgin then he might like a virgin to marry
i think it is weird to expect a woman to still be a virgin at 28 (my age) as I sure aint one. i would like my wife to be a little experienced anyway and maybe teach me some new tricks. :D :D

God wants us to be pure and our relationship with others should reflect Christlikeness. that is what God wants us to be in marriage life also.

You are welcome, Crisi! I am doing fine. We are going to pick up our daughter, then drive to Seattle to meet with Carol's brother and his filipina wife having just arrived from the Philippines. It will be fun! Our daughter here is going to meet over there for one day, as she has lots of chores here, goats, turkeys, chickens, cows, horse, and can't get away more than one day.

I am getting closer to having that house in better condition, and that makes me happy. There are lots of little things to do, and a couple of big things yet, but I am getting closer with it. More accomplishments and fewer frustrations. I managed to walk my big dog Scooby for 2 hours last evening and that was a happy thing!

Thank you for asking! I hope things will improve for you too! :D :D :D :D

I think virginity has been making a comeback in some modern countries like the US. More girls are placing a greater importance on virginity than they have in the past 40 years. It is a wonderful thing, and it is really special that so many filipina females put such a high value on virginity. My hat is off to these women.

I think that most older men do not place such a high value on whether a girl is a virgin, or not. That makes these men more attractive to those females who have given themselves to another man out of wedlock. The younger filipinos may still wish to marry a girl who is untouched, and that opens the door to many older, foreign men to find a younger wife.
