i have a friend has an american boyfriend,shes always think her boyfriend fellings she want it to be happy always.There relationship took 1 year already but one day her boyfriend say goodbye to her and she ask him why u say goodbye ,the man said i not happy in your side ,and the man left her.

I guess nice men are few and far between. My wife's brother found him a really nice filipina, and they are soooooooo happppppppy. He was retired from the Navy. Then he worked all over the world. Nigeria, Singapore, Japan, Philippines, you name it he worked there. He made lots of money and became rich inspecting ships. He went in did the inspection, wrote up a repair order, then came back after the job was done to inspect again, and either pass or fail the job that the men had done. He became very wealthy, but he was gone so much that he and his then wife could not get along, so the mutually got a divorce, and he had worked with this filipina's brother, so he went, married her, and that has been at least 10 years ago. He made this gal and her families very rich, put relatives through college, started businesses for some of them. He bought some nice property built a nice house, bought more property so no one would build between him and his view of Iloilo. He employed his wife's nephew and family as his security guard/maintenance, gardener. He lives in the Philippines all the time, comes to the USA either once a year or every other year. He is not interested in living in the USA nor is his wife, and she doesn't care about getting US citizenship. That was a very happy meeting for both of them, and Carol's brother is happier than he has ever been in his life, so he tells us.

We have a very good friend who found a filipina, married her, I performed their ceremony, and now I think they are going on 5 years, and they are very happy. Her brother built them a brand new house on Negros Oriental, of course my friends are paying for it, and her brother and family are living on wages that they send them to build that house, and it is very good for all of them. My friend is the post master in a little town near here, and she works at an assisted living place, old people's nursing home, and she loves it. They love filipinas also because I was told they just hired one more, and I think they had several of them working there. That was a very happy thing for all concerned. My friend is a good guy, and his filipina is also. I spent 2 weeks with their famies in the Philippines last fall, and they are all very descent and nice peope, and I had a wonderful time, and now I have many beautiful memories.

We all have dreams of finding that special somebody.

Of course to chat back and forth for a year, indicates a deeper commitment, than an introduction letter. But just the same, courtship, chatting is about separating rice from straw. Nobody knows going in how tolerant they are to peoples differences, how their lives will change, how lonely they will be, in advance. Most of us just pursue the day.. one day at a time.

What I think that many Filipinas do not understand is that there are a lot of women in the USA. That it takes a very special individual indeed to select a life's partner from a different culture, country, age group. I would also argue that even those guys considering a pen pal do not know if they are indeed the type of guy who will stick with it until the end.
