I agree that it would be much better to be able to look someone in the eyes to tell what they really are thinking, and watch their body language as they are talking.

The online thing is tough, and as Crisi said people are more able to hide their true selves while online, and that is sad, but it happens. So with this online dating it is best to take enough time so that you know the person well that you are getting ready to be committed with. I think there are ways to increase the probability of hooking up with the right person. I think it does take time online to know and trust the other person. :D :D :D :D

In terms of difference yes, it really has a huge difference between the online and the real life dating relationship because of the fact that first, you cant hardly see who your talking too especially those people who doesn't know how to use the webcam! But, come to think of it! The success of a relationship doesn't merely depends wether you've started in an online nor real life dating! As what I've always been telling other people here that the main ingredient of a successful relationship is the trust, faith, good communication, sincerity and respect to one another.. Because no matter how far you are from your love ones if you have those things in your self and vice versa then, walla! You can achieve a kind of relationship others dont have!

Why I say this its because when I read this post I remember a friend from Nebraska.. He was married to a filipina girl from Davao and they were blessed with two lovely daughters.. On their first three years of marriage they were fine.. Until such time that the wife stopped talking, oh no, maybe the right term was communicating, to him.. They lasted for thirteen years without communication.. They were living in the same roof without communication.. If the wife wants to ask him for their weekly shopping allowance, the message has to pass through the kids... Then recently, maybe a couple of years ago, they got a divorced.. The girl lives with her new boyfriend from Spain and the kids were left to him, the husband and he was 72 years old now and the kids were 16 and 17..Luckily, he was able to raised them up without putting hatred to their mother..

See, how hard it is??? So, I guess it really doesn't matter if you started it online nor real life dating..Not at all!!

I hope to those who were able to read this may stop and ponder for a while, how important the communication is in a certain relationship...
