While watching the TV Patrol news this evening, the headline says that there are 25 people killed and 15 missing in Davao, Mati, because of typhoon, yesterday. Philippine Army are in the rescue as I can see in the report, now. Davao is in the southern part of Mindanao. I am saddened about what is happening here in the Philippines. At the same time I am thankful to the Lord that we are safe here and not affected by the typhoon. Davao is about 3 to 4 hours public ride from my sister's house to the city proper of Davao.

Last month, Cagayan de oro and many buildings and houses was devastated of the typhoon. It is 2 and 1/2 to 3 hours travel through north from here. It is in northern part of Mindanao that was affected. Glad that God protect the people in Bukidnon, though Cabanglasan Municipality was also affected which is 30-40 kilometers ride from here. We are so blessed in this place since many years ago. Please continue to pray for all of us.

Tonight we have rainfall. It is not heavy but it takes time to stop the rain.
I am thankful that God has been so good to all of us here in Mindanao.
Please continue to pray for safety all the time.

Yes, still raining all over Mindanao even Davao. So, we are advice to prepare for landslide, and for emergency cases like food, water, important documents, medical kit and the like ;)
