In this wonderful world we are thankfully all different and I recognise that what works for one couple may not work for others. At best any conclusions will be generalisations.

I was intrigued by one report of an older western man courting a much younger Filipina. The courtship lasted for more than two years during which he was interrogated (very nicely) by a formidable group of aunts about his intentions, prospects and virility. At no point was the significant age difference ever raised until one day he raised it. The aunts looked at him in amazement as to them it was not an issue. Where I currently live it would be an issue for some.

im 21 years old but im looking 35 above man who will love me forever...age doesnt matter to me

I think that my concern is that the age difference might cause the love to fade in 15 to 20 years time.

Lets say for arguments sake that I married a 28 year old Filipina. I am 53 giving an age difference of 25 years. No problems now, deeply in love and both are fit and active. What about when I am 70 and my lovely wife is 45. I would not be so active. Would this difference in energy irritate my wife. Would the love fade?

Maybe I just think too much and should just go with the flow :D

Hi Chas!

Its not about the age why love fades in a relationship... Yes, it is possible for love to fade! I have couple friends who has 2 years age gap and at first, they were so happy that as if everyday was a new day! But after 5 years of marriage, the woman starts gambling with her 'amigas' and the guy worked hard for their family. They got three kids now and you know, I think its the way you handle your family relationship and how you keep tight the ties that bond your marriage vows that matters and not the age! Because we filipinas knows how to love truly and deeply! Maybe not all, but most of us! Even if the age gap is 50 years! If your 72 and she's 22 if you know how to treat a woman well then the relationship would last long! The success of a relationship doesnt depend on the sex drive alone! Bear that in mind....

Okay guys, talking about age, heart will never choose whom to love. As long as it is prepared for you to love someone, who can resist it?
I will tell you a true story about a married couple, the man is truly inlove with the woman and the woman never love the man. Because of Filipino culture where the parents arrange the wedding and the children sometimes nothing to do but to obey their parents.

A man fall in love with a woman. Their parents are close to each other and plan the wedding for their respective children. The man truly love the woman but not the woman to the man. Because their parents arrange their wedding, they got married. They live together and respect the woman to never touch her unless the woman fall in love with the guy. The guy has been nice and good to her. He show kindness and love. He has been so much patient waiting for the woman to choose to love her. Many days, weeks, months, years past, the man waited for so long, and the woman learn to love the woman. And so the woman realize how much the man love her and he never give up even to the point they are married, he still so kind and loving to the woman. What a wonderful heart a man has. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

This is a true story.

Age does not matter for me as long as we have love for each other and can communicate. I'm sure I can learn from a younger girls perspective and she can learn from my "older" wisdom.

The above are Scott's words. :D :D :D :D

One study that was recently published says that if an older man marries a younger woman, then he will live a longer life, an average of 7 to 9 years longer. It seems that being married to a young woman keeps a man more active, which is good for his health. And he is much happier, which also translates to having less stress and a better overall condition, both physically and mentally.
So the solution is for the older man to find a younger woman, and that is what makes the filipina women such a treasure because so many of them WANT to be with an older man. Thanks to jaderune.com for providing these filipina ladies to have a place to post their profiles, and to be seen, and to have a chance to meet some lucky guy.

I prefer big difference age gap because most likely men are serious. And remember that women and men have different emotional and mental level, so better to find the mature one. :D :D :D :D :D :D

That is what my Dad said, is that the older man is supposed to find the younger woman. My Dad was about 10 years older than my Mom. I was with my Mom with she returned the call to the doctor who operated on my Dad. We didn't have a telephone, so we had to go to the neighbors. When the doctor was telling my Mom that my Dad didn't live through the operation, she was in shock of course and saying, "He was so young, too young to die." At the time I thought, no he was not young, but now I realize that, yes he was young, because I am now older than my Dad was then when he died!
