Last night I asked the Lord for guidance and wisdom when questions arise during this morning's audit and I pray also that all well be okay. And God has really answered my prayer. So after the audit I said to myself, Thanks God it is already finished and balanced. :D

Yes, God does answer prayers! :D :D

God loves it when we pray and give thanks to Him! We are to pray without ceasing, and we can give thanks constantly with our lives. :D

A church song in the book that I played just a few songs ago, says, "Did you remember to pray before you left this morning," maybe not exact words, but that is close. I have run across that song in a quite a few of my old church song books. It is an old song and has a really good message. Did you remember to pray before you left this morning? We pray at least at every meal, and while we are at it, we pray for everyone we can think of, including our kids, grandkids, our friends, other people in need, and everone one else. Then I and think Carol too, often pray through the day for people with needs. We need to remember to pray for each other in needs that we have. It is important also to thank Him for our blessings and answered prayers! :D :D :D :D

A few pages after that I found a beautiful old song: "In That Home Of The Soul." It is interesting to me that it was copy righted the same year that my Dad was born, 1907. If he were still alive he would be 104.5 years old! :D :D The person who compiled the book I am playing out of was a Church Of Christ music teacher, singing teacher, song leader, song and hymn writer, and preacher. He was Tillit S. Teddlie, and he live to be 102 years old!

This song is by James W Gaines. "Soon the toils of life will cease, Then no sorrow we shall know, In that home of the soul, There we'll dwell in joy and peace, Robed in garments white as snow, In that home of the soul. There the Savior we shall see, And His glory ever share, In that home of the soul, Reunited we shall be, With the ransomed over there, In that home of the soul. While the ages onward roll, Round the shining throne we'll sing, In that home of the soul, With the angels we'll extol, Him, the Christ, our Lord, and King, In that home of the soul." Chorus: "Blessesd thought, there to dwell, In that home of the soul; Endless praise we shall swell, In that home of the soul." :D :D :D :D
