Today was so nice I just could not make myself go inside.I cleaned up the barbeque and made up a batch of burgers at the clubhouse.Had a pretty good turn out. This was just a little taste of what summer will soon be giving us every day. It`s so nice I have the heat off and still have a window open in the middle of the night.

Well, it is still cold enough here for a fire to heat the place the day and night. The BBQ sounds fun. Any I told in another post about my dinner, and that we were going to use the left over chicken from KFC for a couple more meals. Well tonight for supper we had stir fry with pea pods and other vegetables, cut up chicken, and also rice under that, and boy was it good. Also I drank a little milk with it as well. We gave the big dog Scooby some of the skin as there was too much skin to eat, so he enjoyed that. Now I am just finishing up eating my peanut butter, honey, and drinking my milk.    :D :D

Last evening for supper we had toast, eggs, some jam, and a few wedges of oranges. Carol has gotten into this mystery movie watching craz, so we are watching a mystery movie almost every evening. The evening before we ate a large tub of popcorn each, and ate some apple wedges while we watched a mystery movie that evening. It seemed strange to eat popcorn for supper, when it is considered a snack food!    :D :D

Since I have been helping our daughter and granddaughter I have eaten several meals with them. Our daughter does a good job of cooking. For supper tonight I have vavioli with meat and sauce, and it was very good. She likes to drink milk and so do I, so that works out great for both of us. Carol didn't know I was eating there, so she was waiting for me, but the food will keep, so that is okay. After I got home I ate a sliced up apple, and Carol ate an orange. :D :D :D :D

You are right Red, in that it helps to eat early in the evening. We eat earlier in the evening than we used to. We eat anywhere from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. I do eat peanut butter, honey, and drink milk, usually about 9:30 or 10 p.m., which some might think is not good, but it works for me. Last evening we ate 1 and 1/2 pieces of chicken leg, rice with chicken gravy, and some apple wedges, and milk to drink. It was a good meal! :D :D :D :D

There are times that I cannot eat. Maybe because of depression or problems. It seems all that I am eating are taste bitter.

My stomach is already condition to eat light or small amount. Sometimes, I need to eat little from time to time since it is hard for me to eat a lot or else I will vomit. Maybe because that is really my stomach.

Crisi, I think it is stress, depression, feeling badly, not having things go right, trauma, and these things can affect our appetite, and our ability to eat. I don't have that problem much at all, but I do know that it happens with people. If I am pressed to get something done, often I don't care whether or not I eat. Sometimes I have to go to town to do some work, and it is important to accomplish something with the time that I have. Several times I have eaten my mid day lunch on my way up the hill towards home after dark. I have been so driven that I have not eaten anything since breakfast, but that doesn't happen to me all the time, just when I am driven to get something done, and I am short of time to get it done.

Crisi, sometimes that makes sense to eat a little less more often than to eat a lot and less often. Your stomach can probably handle that better when you are stressed, but you still need to eat, even a little. We often eat a late breakfast because Carol gets too tired to get out of bed in the morning early enough to eat early. She didn't used to be that way. It has to do with her diabetes, or some other health issue that she has. She doesn't know why, but if she goes to town 2 days in a row she gets so tired, then she has to sleep most of the time so that she can feel good. She will sleep all night, and then she will sleep most of the day also, and none of us understand why that is happening.

We ate breakfast late. Then when lunch time came Carol said that she couldn't think of anything she wanted to fix for lunch, so she ate cold cereal; cheerios, and I ate peanut butter, honey, and drank milk. Then for supper we had raviola type stuff with cottage cheese, regular cheese, egg plant (I love egg plant!) and homemade salsa, as well as drinking milk. Then since I already ate peanut butter honey, and drank milk, I drank milk and ate some of my Christmas present chocolate pieces. They were delicious, and they are about gone, so they will not get too old!    :D :D
